Your path, prepared with care.
One Path Finder is built to support people who need practical help with tax and immigration document preparation. We focus on clear communication, organized paperwork, and respectful client service.
One Path Finder is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Immigration document preparation services are provided only where permitted by law. We cannot choose your form, tell you how to answer its questions, tell you whether you qualify, or represent you before USCIS or a court.
Common questions
Are you a law firm?
No. One Path Finder is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Immigration document preparation is offered only where permitted by law.
Can you guarantee an approval or a refund?
No. We can't guarantee any outcome. Decisions are made by the government agency that reviews your application or tax return.
Where can I get official forms?
Official forms and instructions are free from the agencies. USCIS forms are at uscis.gov/forms, and IRS forms are at irs.gov/forms-instructions.
Who can answer legal questions about my case?
A licensed attorney or a DOJ-accredited representative can advise you on your specific situation. If you would like, we can pass your contact details to our partner law firm: see Need a lawyer? below.
What can’t you do for me?
Because we are not lawyers, we cannot tell you which form to file, how to answer its questions, whether you qualify for a benefit, or what your options are. We cannot represent you or speak for you with USCIS, an immigration court or the IRS in a legal matter. Our form-filling software asks the questions printed on the official form and places your answers on it. It does not choose a form for you, suggest answers, or check whether you qualify. We also help you organize your documents, and charge only for that work.
Are you a “notario”?
No. In the U.S., a notary public is not a lawyer and cannot give immigration advice. We do not offer services as a “notario público” and we are not lawyers. Be careful with anyone who says they are a notario and offers immigration advice: see USCIS: Avoid scams.
Need a lawyer?
If you need legal advice about your case, we can pass your contact details to our partner law firm. Email us your contact details with your OK to share them, or call us, and an attorney or a staff member from the partner law firm will contact you to set up a consultation.

The partner law firm is a separate business, not part of One Path Finder. Any legal advice, fees and attorney-client relationship are between you and the law firm, and the firm decides whether it can take your case. We do not give legal advice and are not responsible for the firm’s advice. We share your details with the firm only if you ask us to. How we are paid: the law firm pays One Path Finder a fixed fee for each contact request we pass on to it. The fee is the same whether or not you hire the firm, and you pay nothing for the referral. We do not recommend or vouch for any lawyer, and you are free to choose any attorney or accredited representative.
