USCIS filing fee calculator

See what the government charges for the most common immigration forms, grouped by category, and add up the forms you plan to file.

Confirm before you pay. Fees change, and a wrong fee can cause USCIS to reject your filing. These amounts were last checked on October 22, 2026, and include the changes for requests postmarked on or after October 16, 2026. Confirm the exact fee on the official USCIS fee schedule (G-1055) before you file. This is general information, not legal advice. It covers government fees only, not attorney or service fees.

Family and green card Citizenship Work and temporary stay Asylum, parole and TPS

Every fee is listed below. To add up a total, check each form you plan to file, then choose online or paper.

What is included

Biometric services are included in most of these fees. This page does not cover every form or fee category. Some applicants pay a different fee or $0, such as certain military applicants, and some applicants can ask USCIS to waive a fee with Form I-912. Check the official fee schedule for your situation. Online filing is available for some forms and costs $50 less for many of them. A fee shown as paper only means no online fee is listed here.

Other costs to expect

USCIS has proposed raising the N-400 fee. A proposal is not final, so this tool uses the current fee. Check the official sources for updates before you file.
